The Hejazi Fragrance comprises of two magnificient forewards written by Shaykh al-Hadith Hadhrat Mawlana Yusuf Motala (Rahmatullahi alaihi) for two different books, 'Siraj al-Qari Li Halli Sahih al-Bukhari' and 'Misbah al-Qari 'ala Sahih al-Bukhari'.
The author provides a detailed descritption of his most beloved Shaykh's [Shaykh al-Hadith Imam Mawlana Muhammad Zakariyya (Rahmatullahi alaihi)] lessons of Sahih al-Bukhari, his etiquette when teaching Hadith and his spirituality. He discusses different modes of study of Hadith amongst Muhaddithun. Other eminent scholars and students of Shaykh al-Hadith Mawlana Zakariyya (Rahmatullahi alaihi) are mentioned.
The esteemed author has also included the special invocations of blessings and peace composed by Hadhrat Shaykh Muhammad Zakariyya (Rahmatullahi alaihi) which are combined with the Quranic verses and hadith transmissions.
The author presents forty hadith from Sahih al-Bukhari and intimate notes that he had jotted down as a student. These annotations discuss spiritual rectification, poetry, historical points, humour and so on.
